In NSW you must have a genuine reason to obtain a Firearms Licence. This can be target shooting, hunting or collecting. To support each of these genuine reasons you must belong to an approved club such as Combined Shooters Club. Fortunately members of SSAA NSW can use their membership to support their genuine reason for having a firearms licence.
